1 | Welcome to the Flashcards by NKO App!
| This is the back side of the card. TAP the card to see its front side | |
2 | To flip a card, TAP it once. You can also SWIPE LEFT to go to the previous card or SWIPE RIGHT to go to the next card | This is the back side, which will generally have a more detail description, answer, or translation. Some decks could have only 1-sided cards (for example, all other tutorials). Now you know how to FLIP flashcards and MOVE between flashcards. TAP, SWIPE RIGHT, and SWIPE LEFT are the three basic gestures you need to know to navigate through a deck.
3 | What the Card Can Tell You
| SWIPE RIGHT to go to the next card | |
4 | Spaced Repetion System Most of the tools and games are based on adaptive algorithms, including the Space Repetion System or SRS. In the Review tool you mark your confidence in the shown card in 0% - 100% range and then the SRS predicts when you're about to forget the card. The more confident you are in the card, the less often you will see it in the future. | In the top-right corner of a card you can see the color that corresponds card confidence level: red (0%) through blue (100%). If you don't see any color, it means you still need to let the SRS know your initial confidence in the card. P.S. Don't worry if you tap a confidence button by mistake. Tap the right one. TRY IT!
5 | Take a look at the buttons around this card. The "MORE" button brings up less frequently used features such as ORDER, FILTER, FRONT SIDE, MODE, BACKWARD, FORWARD, and EDIT. If you are using an iPad, you see 3 additional buttons: SIZE, NEXT, and FLIP. | Tap the LESS button to hide these settings...
6 | "More" Button and Navigation
| SWIPE RIGHT to go to the next card | |
